The First Story
Long before I ever dreamed of writing a memoir, there was another manuscript.
As a young boy, I loved to tell stories. Most were handwritten in spiral notebooks, but one day I decided to type one. It wasn’t polished. It certainly wasn’t destined for a publisher. It was simply the imagination of a kid who loved adventure and couldn’t wait to see what happened on the next page.
Looking back now, I realize the Lord was planting a seed I wouldn’t fully understand for many years.
Life took me in a different direction. Engineering became my career. Ministry became my calling. Writing quietly waited in the background.
Then, in His perfect timing, God brought me back to the keyboard.
From Valley Roads to Victory may be my first published book…
…but it wasn’t my first story.
